Helping you get started
From the moment you’re committed to running a pub with us, we’re committed to providing you the support you need to succeed. Our onboarding support starts way before you get the keys.
WE’RE HERE TO GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE PROCESS, AND ONCE YOU’RE IN, WE’RE STILL HERE FOR YOU.

Business plan support
Once we’ve had a conversation or two and you’ve visited the pub, you’ll be asked to put together your business plan. This is your vision for the pub, how you’d run it, what you’d do and how you’d make the financials stack up. This is your opportunity to demonstrate your business acumen. But, you won’t be left alone to do it. Our Recruitment Manager will review it with you before you formally present it.

Induction
We’ll set you up right from the start. Our three-day induction program walks you through every element of support available from the brewery, to ensure you make the most of our help. As well as finding out about ongoing support there are a variety of workshops to equip you with skills, top tips, and brand knowledge to smash your sales and deliver your business plan. If you’re new to the industry or just new to Robinsons, we’ll ensure you leave with fresh insight and new understandings.

Training
Before you can take on a pub, there are a few legal requirements needed, so we’ll point you in the right direction. You’ll need your own Personal License, and you’ll need to have completed your Pre-Entry Awareness training run by the BII. These courses ensure you’re up to date with licensing requirements and know what taking on a tenancy agreement looks like.

Settling in
With a new business to run, perhaps a new place to live, or a new village or town to settle into, things can sometimes take time. We’ve got a dedicated team who will support you through this transition. From our dedicated Mentoring BDM to support you in getting your business going, to our Pub Partner Engagement Manager who’ll visit with no agenda other than a cuppa and a chat, we’ve got a dedicated team on hand for those first few weeks.
